Part of Pendleton Drive to close Sept. 10 – Oct. 15
Pendleton Drive will be closed at the intersection of FM 158/Boonville Road to Beacon Heights for road repairs from Sept. 10 to Oct. 15.
Public Meeting on Woodville Road Reconstruction Project (Phase One) set for Oct. 23
The first public meeting on the City of Bryan’s Woodville Road Reconstruction Project (Phase One) will be held on Monday, Oct. 23 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Navarro Elementary School Cafeteria, 4619 Northwood Drive in Bryan. Residents will have the opportunity to meet with the designer and city staff members, and view the concept plans for the project.
Phase One of this project is currently under design, and consists of widening the street with curbs and gutters similar to what has been completed east of Old Hearne Road. Sidewalks will be constructed on both the north and south sides of the roadway, providing a safer and more comfortable pedestrian experience. Many underground utilities will also be upgraded or added including water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer drainage.
