The 2025 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation’s Summer Games of Texas brought more than 7,100 athletes from across the state to Bryan and College Station from July 31-Aug. 3, generating an estimated $6.5 million for the local economy.

City Offices Closed Sept. 1 for Labor Day
On Monday, Sept. 1, City of Bryan offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Solid waste and brush and bulky collections will run as normal.

History will come roaring to life on Saturday, June 21, as the Commemorative Air Force hosts a one-day Warbird Expo at Coulter Airfield from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Three iconic World War II aircraft will be on display: the B-25 Mitchell bomber Devil Dog, the SNJ/T6 Texan trainer, and the Navy JRB Little Raider. Visitors can meet the pilots and crews, tour the aircraft inside and out, and even book a flight for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Admission is free, with $5 cockpit tours of the B-25 bomber available for adults. Children may tour the aircraft free of charge.
