Hail Damage: Automobile Dent Repair and Estimate Providers

Any vendor setting up a tent or other temporary structure to repair damage or provide estimates for hail-damaged vehicles must submit an Itinerant Vendor Permit to the City of Bryan Development Services Department.

Key points to remember

  • Completed applications should be emailed to building@bryantx.gov.
  • A copy of all employees’ driver license(s) or valid government ID(s) must be included.

  • Incomplete submittals will not be accepted.
  • Vendors shall not begin operating until a permit is issued by the City of Bryan. 

  • Itinerant Vendors may only operate for three (3) consecutive days and no more than twenty-one (21) cumulative days in a calendar year. These regulations can be found in Bryan Code of Ordinances Chapter 90.

Utilizing an Existing Building


Providers who want to utilize an existing building must first submit a Change of Tenant application to Building Services.

  • Zoning regulations apply. View online zoning map.
  • Paintless Dent Repair is classified by the City of Bryan Zoning Ordinance as Automobile Service and is only permitted in Commercial (C-3) zoning districts.
