Residents and businesses that are interested these new fiber options should contact the individual providers to indicate their interest, discuss costs and service plans and to receive updates on construction.

is this city-owned broadband?

Is This City-owned Broadband?

No. The City of Bryan is allowing third-party providers to construct and manage their own fiber-optic networks within Bryan and connect them to homes and businesses. These providers do have to go through a permitting and inspection process with the City of Bryan’s Development Services Department, but the city does not own or manage these networks, and the city is not doing construction work.
