The City of Bryan is currently accepting applications for the following:
Position: Police Officer (Entry-level or Certified)
Written Exam Date: Saturday, December 1, 2018
Time: 9:00 AM (check in time is between 8:00-8:45 AM)
(Note: Physical Agility Test will be immediately after written exam.)

Application Deadline: Monday, November 19, 2018
To apply, you must complete the following steps:
Step 1: Apply Online. You must complete an online City of Bryan Application by Monday, November 19, 2018. You may apply by clicking here. You will receive an online confirmation number upon successfully submitting your application. You will also receive a confirmation email from Human Resources within a week of submitting your application.
Step 2: Download Information Packet & Complete Personal History Statement. You may download the applicant information packet by clicking here. This packet contains information on the Bryan Police Department and the application/hiring process, minimum standards and qualifications for the position, salary information, a map to the testing site and a Personal History Statement (PHS) form. You must review this information and complete the PHS form included in this packet. The completed PHS must be turned in at the time you check in for the written exam. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the testing process.
Step 3: Download Study Guide. Human Resources will not be mailing an exam study guide. You may download a free study guide by clicking here. The study guide will also be sent to you in the confirmation email mentioned in step 1.
Step 4: Optional Study Session. Human Resources will be offering a study session on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. You may download a flyer containing further details about the study session by clicking here. While the study session is optional, it is highly recommended!
Important: For those with prior military service – If you received an honorable discharge from the armed services of the United States, you must furnish a copy of your DD-214 Form by the application deadline in order to receive an additional five (5) points to your final score, should you pass the written examination. DD-214 Forms will not be accepted at the testing site for the additional points. You may submit your DD-214 in one of the following ways: attach a scanned copy to your online application, drop it off in person, fax it to 979-209-5059 (please confirm it was received if faxed) OR submit through e-mail.
