City offices closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

City of Bryan Municipal Office Building will be closed on Monday, Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

The following offices will also be closed:

  • Bryan + College Station Public Library System
  • Community Development office
  • Parks & Recreation office
  • Neal Recreation Center
  • Coulter Field
  • Bryan Animal Center

Bryan Municipal Court

Closed Jan. 16. Documents or payments due on those days will only be accepted on Jan. 17.

Animal Control

Animal Control Officers will be working from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will resume normal operating hours on Jan. 17. Please call 979-361-3888 for animal control issues and for assistance after business hours.

Solid Waste Collection

Solid Waste Residential garbage and brush and bulky will run on normal schedules.

The Used Oil and Tire Center will be open.

Public Works Call Center

Closed Jan. 16. Residents with traffic, water, sewer, or utility needs may call 979-822-3777 for after-hours assistance.

Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU)

Closed Jan. 16. To make a bill payment, call 979-821-5700 to use the automated voice service system, visit btutilities.com, or stop by a kiosk (please note, these locations may have separate holiday hours):

  • H-E-B, Texas Avenue and State Highway 21
  • H-E-B, 725 E. Villa Maria Road
  • BTU office drive-through, 205 E. 28th St. (open 24 hours)
