
City of Bryan’s Planning staff wins award for 2023 Historic Preservation Plan
On Friday, Sept.15, City of Bryan Planning staff members accepted the 2023 General Plan Award from the American Planning Association Texas Chapter’s Central Section.
On Monday, May 29, City of Bryan offices will be closed in observance of Memorial Day and will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 30.
The following facilities will also be closed:
Bryan Municipal Court
Closed May 29. Documents or payments due on May 29 will be accepted on May 30.
Animal Control
Animal Control Officers will be working from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 29. Call 979.361.3888 for animal control issues or for assistance after business hours.
Solid Waste Collections
Garbage, and brush and bulky collections will run as normal.
The Used Oil and Tire Recycling Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Pools
Bryan Aquatic Center will be open for lap swim only on May 29 from 5:30 – 7:30 a.m. and Noon – 8 p.m.
To swim recreationally, visit Henderson Harbor from 1 – 7 p.m. or Sadie Thomas from Noon – 5 p.m.
Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU)
Closed May 29. To make a bill payment, call 979.821.5700 to use the automated voice service system, visit btutilities.com, or stop by a kiosk (please note, these locations may have separate holiday hours):
