The Bryan City Council voted unanimously to appoint Tiffany Thomas as presiding judge of Bryan Municipal Court of Record. She will be sworn in on May 1.

City of Bryan remembers former Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee
The City of Bryan is saddened to report the passing of former Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee. Mr. Conlee passed last night after a lengthy illness.
Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 8, Pendleton Drive will be closed to through traffic from FM 158/Boonville Road to Maroon Creek Drive for road repairs. The existing roadway will be replaced with new concrete in various locations within this closure area.
This area of Pendleton Drive is expected to be closed from Feb. 8 – March 17.
The section of Pendleton Drive that will be closed is from the Residence at Oakmont Apartment Complex entrance/exit (east side of the driveway) to Beacon Heights Drive. Complex residents will be able to use the main entrance to and from FM 158/Boonville Road. Residents using Beacon Heights Drive will have to take Pendleton Drive to Oakmont Boulevard to University Drive. There will be signs posted to direct traffic.
